The riders got a well wanted gift

None of the cyclists in Arctic Race of Norway travel home empty-handed. Everyone got a piece of smoked salmon from Northern Norway.

Gratanglaks and Kleiva Fish farm together with Coast Seafoods are responsible for the gift.

- We heard from management of Arctic Race of Norway that several of the teams had asked for salmon before they came, since they know that the salmon industry cooperates with the race. Then it was extra nice to be able to surprise them with a gift on the closing day, says Monica Lundberg in Gratang Salmon.

Satisfied with the visibility

Norwegian salmon is exported to large parts of the world, and representatives from the salmon industry see great value in being a part of Arctic Race of Norway which is broadcast live on TV in 146 countries.

- We have been a proud partner of Arctic Race of Norway for several years, and we think it is great to have some of the world's best cycling riders here in Northern Norway. It's also incredibly cool to see the how visible Norwegian salmon is during the race, Lundberg concludes.

Astana Pro Team, the team of the winner of Arctic Race of Norway 2019 Alexey Lutsenko,  was also the best team of the race.
