Markus Hoelgaard: "I have a good chance to win GC too"

“My goal was to try and win a stage again. I did it on the first day so now the pressure is off, so now it’ll be all about trying to keep the jersey. I couldn’t wait for the sprint so I went at the top of the last climb. I saw [Andreas] Leknessund took a corner badly so I went full gas in the downhill to get a gap and it worked out. I’m super happy. It’s very special for me to win again in this race. I have great memories from before. To win again is unbelievable. I think I have good chances on GC. At least I hope so, I’ll try to defend the jersey tomorrow and then on Saturday it’ll be all about the legs in the last climb. The GC is a big goal for me.”
