Alexander Kristoff: “Just two victories left to reach one hundred”

August 8 th 2025 - 19:35 [GMT + 2]

Alexander Kristoff (Uno-X Mobility) won the 2nd stage of the 2025 Arctic Race of Norway

“I showed today I still have good legs, and I’m very happy to win in the final race in Norway. This is also my 98th victory as a pro, so there are only two left to reach one hundred. Tromsø can be a good chance to add one more to my tally - I already won there, indeed. It will depend on how we race. If it’s easy, I stand a chance. If it’s too hard, it will be tough.”

“My teammates and I wanted to wait until 5 kilometers to go to take the head of the peloton. The problem was that bringing climbers to the front gets too hectic, so we were shouting on the radio for a bit… but then they made it and delivered an excellent job. We were maybe lacking one guy at the finish, but Rasmus [Tiller] pulled it off perfectly. I then got a gap just out of the final corner and could hold it to the finish.”
