Storm Ingebrigtsen: “Baksaas and I went to the same cycling school”

Storm Ingebrigtsen (Coop-Repsol) was in the breakaway on the 2nd stage of the 2025 Arctic Race of Norway, and kept the lead of the KOM classification.

“The feeling is very good. It was a harder stage than I had anticipated, yet the scenery was super beautiful. I was a bit surprised to find a rival in Morthen Wang Baksaas for the KOM points. Yet I expected him to battle it up, and he is such a good sprinter that he managed to be faster than me atop the first two summits. It was good fun to fight him - we went to the same cycling school for two years! After the stage, we shook hands. There’s more fun to come tomorrow.”
