Storm Ingebrigtsen: “It worked out because I was the most consistent rider”

Storm Ingebrigtsen (Coop-Repsol) won the KOM classification of the 2025 Arctic Race of Norway, bringing home the northern lights jersey sponsored by Aibel.

“I’m really happy. It’s really nice to claim this northern lights jersey. I expected a very hectic stage today, with so many hills and corners everywhere but it turned out pretty well for me because none of the men up the road had any KOM points before the stage and didn’t threaten me. I have battled really hard for the points in the last couple of days, and I got beaten in almost every sprint. It worked out in the end because I was the most consistent rider, taking points in nearly every stage. This success means a lot for me and for the team, because this is a big race and we need a sponsor for next year at Coop-Repsol.”
