On June 13th, 2026, Trondheim will come alive with the arrival of L’Étape Trondheim by Tour de France, a key event of the L’Étape Series. This first edition in Norway confirms what many already know: the country is a true land of cycling.

From spectacular fjords to winding forest roads, Norway offers an extraordinary playground for cycling enthusiasts. In Trondheim, riders will experience breathtaking natural surroundings, where the Nordic light enhances every landscape. Here, every pedal stroke becomes unforgettable.

The Tour de France experience, Nordic style

With L’Étape Series by Tour de France, amateur cyclists can live the thrill of a Tour stage on fully closed roads, in conditions similar to the professional peloton.

This edition features:

  • 130 km – 1570 m elevation gain: a demanding challenge for experienced riders
  • 75 km – 1058 m elevation gain: an accessible yet rewarding route
  • A Social Ride to enjoy the experience in a more relaxed atmosphere

More than 2,000 riders have already signed up, drawn by the promise of a unique Scandinavian cycling event.
