A race of this size brings out the best in the Northern Norwegians. The cyclists and their teams will be met with hospitality, warmth and humour and made to feel very welcome.
The cultural heritage of the indigenous Sami people and the coastal culture form part of our way of life, connecting us to nature. Our joie de vivre manifests itself in a rich culture and a distinctive cuisine.
Finally, we want the Arctic Race of Norway to inspire not just our guests but also the locals. If Northern Norwegians cycle more, they will reap physical and mental health benefits. We also hope to see more cyclists from around the world here. The challenge of off-road cycling in the wilderness may also be of interest.
We are very proud to host the most northerly professional bicycle race in the world, which is also the largest and longest folk celebration in Northern Norway.
