Corbin Strong: “I was really nervous, but my team was just incredible”

Corbin Strong (Israel-Premier Tech) won the overall classification of the 2025 Arctic Race of Norway, as well as the Points and the Young Riders classifications.

“It was an incredibly stressful day. I knew we were going to be under attack from kilometer zero, but this exceeded my expectations. The first few laps in the rain I really didn’t feel confident in being able to control the race. I was really nervous, but my team was just incredible. We were four of us high up in the GC, and that goes to show how strong we were. They all rode for me today, and hence why we pulled off this victory. We couldn’t have done better today.”

“I knew I was in good shape, and feeling really strong on the climbs. I was hoping for a top5 overall, or a podium if I delivered a really good ride, because of the level of the competition with [Tom] Pidcock or [Christian] Scaroni. Yet I exceeded my expectations yesterday, and I feel really proud of myself and of the team.”

“It’s been a really enjoyable week, on and off the bike. The scenery in Norway is stunning, and I really appreciated it. Just riding my bike here was a great experience.”
