Rana is a growing municipality with a population of just over 26,000. The city of Mo i Rana is constantly changing and aims to become the green industrial capital of Norway.
Work is underway to establish Norway's first battery cell factory, with 1,500 new green jobs. In 2025, just a few minutes from the city, a new major airport will be ready to connect the world closer to Rana, and Rana closer to the world. And a new deep-water port will be built to strengthen our commitment to world-class green industry. As you probably understand, Rana is in great development.
