Corbin Strong (Israel-Premier Tech) won the 1st stage of the 2025 Arctic Race of Norway, and is now in the lead of the overall standings. He leads the Points and the Young Riders classifications as well.

“I had a good rest in the middle of the season, and then a nice training camp in Livigno, both on and off the bike. I enjoy my time with my teammates. We have a very good environment and things are going well, with the victories I claimed in the Tour of Wallonia and now this one. I’m really enjoying racing my bike at the moment.”

“I enjoy feeling the pressure that comes from my teammates working hard for me. To see how much they put in today, how they sacrificed for me, really motivated me. And, of course, I’m very happy I could pay them back with a win.”

“Does this part of Norway remind me of my home in New Zealand? I actually grew up close to the fjords of New Zealand, and went to a wedding in Fiordland during the off-season along with my mates Josh Burnett and Dion Smith, who are both racing here as well. So yeah, the landscapes feel really familiar. I really enjoy being in Norway. It’s a beautiful country. What you see in a postcard from Norway is what you get once you are here - the whole country is as beautiful as a postcard.”
