Taco van der Hoorn: “I went on the breakaway to take some pressure off my teammates”

It was okay out there today. I felt good. In the first kilometres there was a big fight for the break. At the beginning a group of 20 riders went clear, and it was strange. We kept attacking as the plan was for me to be on the breakaway to take some pressure off my teammates. I wasn’t going for the win, as the final climb was too difficult for me. I managed to go on a small break as we wanted. The final didn't go down to plan as we didn’t win atop Skallstuggu, but we still have Sven Eryk Bystrøm and Quinten Hermans up there, playing for the GC.
